She even surprised all the adult men with actual flowers which was a first for me. The questions the young men asked us were well thought out. Nicole Williams is the definition of a 'Village Mother.' I had the pleasure of being recruited to participate in a young men's mentoring luncheon, orchestrated by her. During that mentorship event, I was awe struck by her love for the students who participated. Particularly noteworthy was how she seemed so integrated into the school community. It can be difficult to form relationships with trauma stricken youth. She was a 'zen master'. Any organization would be fortunate to have her as an asset.
